I put together this exhibition through my little association Action Bangladesh Calvados (ABC) in 2016 at Villers sur Mer and
in the Saint Nicolas church in Caen. There were 98 photos, some I had taken in the mid '70s when the extraordinary
old sailing boats still existed and others more recent showing the boat and river life today.
Bangladeshi craftsmen, through an initiative by the NGO Friendship, make these models of the old traditional boats.
All sales from the exhibitions were donated to Friendship.
